Odds&endS is the creative outlet of Andrea Daniel. Started in 2010, Odds&endS was born from her love of vintage textiles and appreciation of traditional craft techniques. From knitting to sewing, painting to decorating, it’s all featured within the Odds&endS collection.
Having trained in Industrial Design (Swinburne University) and Fashion Design (RMIT), she combines her product design knowledge with her desire to re-use and recycle. Many of the pieces within the Odds&endS collection utilize antique and reaclaimed materials, such as beautiful pure wool, cashmere and mohair jumpers, vintage ceramics, and other collectable ephemera.
With a little help from her sister Renee and Mum Virginia, each product is lovingly crafted with a focus on hand detailing and unique design.
The iconic knitted cacti came from Andrea’s knack for killing indoor plants. The handmade wooly plants look just like the real thing, but will last in any environment, no watering required, just the occassional dust.
The product range is continually evolving as she finds new vintage materials to inspire her designs.
When Andrea’s not in her studio crafting up a storm she can found spending time with her family, husband Ben and son Charley.
If you’d like to know more about the Odds&endS story, we would love to hear from you.
We hope you love Odds&endS as much as Andrea has creating them for you.
